It was unmedicated. It was powerful. It was even pain-free. And it changed everything.
But here’s what most people don’t know:
I had no idea what I was doing going into it.
Despite already having experience as a nurse in the field, all I felt I knew was how to be a "good patient."
I wanted to trust my body. I wanted to trust God.
So I read the books. Dug through the blogs. Pieced things together the hard way.
And by God’s grace… I had the birth I hoped for.
I returned to L&D nursing at a Catholic practice when my daughter was a year old.
At first, it felt like the right thing. In fact, I thought this would be my dream job.
But every shift reminded me why I’d fought so hard for a different kind of birth in the first place.
I watched women get dismissed, over-managed, and rushed- despite desperately wanting low-intervention, God-centered births.
There wasn't a lot I could do to help once they were already in labor.
So I knew I couldn’t stay.
Eight months later, I walked away and poured everything I had into Holy Confident Birth.
Because I knew there were more women out there like me—
who loved Jesus, trusted their bodies, and were done settling for births that didn’t speak to either.

While this course was created with the intention of equipping women who are going in with intention of an unmedicated birth, if you are a woman who loves Jesus and wants an empowering, faith centered birth where you feels educated on all your options and in control of the decisions you are going to make (yes, even if that means an epidural or other intervention) this course will help you achieve that!
Birth can be unpredictable, but that doesn’t mean it has to feel chaotic. This course equips you to handle the unexpected with faith and confidence so you can stay connected to God and grounded no matter what.
The Holy Confident Birth Course is completely self-paced with pre-recorded lessons. You can go through the material on your schedule, revisit lessons as often as you need, and take your time absorbing everything. You’ll also have lifetime access to any updates or additions! Most mamas find start between 20 and 30 weeks of pregnancy but you can begin as early or as late as you need! The course can be finished in one weekend if need be!
Childbirth classes are generally eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). To use your spending account funds to purchase the Holy Confident Birth Course, simply pay with a standard personal credit or debit card, then keep your receipt and request reimbursement from your insurance company/spending account administrator.
It is recommended that you have your medical provider (OB or Midwife) provide a letter of medical necessity (LMN) for you. Most will do this no problem! You do not need a LMN to checkout, but it is helpful to have on hand should your insurance company ask about your purchase during the reimbursement process.
