Welcome, friend! I am so happy to have you here!
My work in birth began in large hospital maternity settings, where I witnessed the realities of modern, highly medicalized birth.
As a Catholic woman preparing for motherhood, I also experienced the difficulty of finding childbirth education that honored both my faith and my desire for a holistic birth experience.
After giving birth at a birth center and later at home, and through my work as a labor and delivery nurse, childbirth educator, and doula, I became committed to creating the Catholic birth resource I wished existed when I was pregnant.
Today, I teach Catholic women how to prepare for natural, low-intervention birth through my online course and podcast, Holy Confident Birth.
Birth is a team effort, and I love helping dads step into their role with confidence. When dads feel equipped to support their wives, something beautiful happens—a sense of connection and teamwork that carries into parenthood.
I believe you deserve clear, honest information about your options for labor, birth, and postpartum. My goal is to equip you with knowledge that helps you feel prepared to make decisions that align with your priorities.
Birth isn’t just physical—it’s emotional, spiritual, and deeply personal. My hope is to support you through education and content that honors all of these layers, creating an experience that feels whole.
I am a devout Catholic, and I have no intention of hiding that fact. My faith shapes everything I do, and is especially foundational to how I approach birth. I believe birth reflects God’s perfect design, and I aim to honor that in every way. While I strive to provide non-judgmental education for expecting parents, this also means you will not hear me endorse practices that go against the teachings of the Catholic Church such as abortion, sterilization, assisted reproduction, or surrogacy. I also speak about the family unit in a way that reflects Church teaching.
